Hi! I'm strongly considering going Paleo this summer, when I'm home from university. Since I am an athlete and feel hungry constantly (although I do eat relatively healthy foods), do you find that you get hungry less often on the Paleo diet? Thanks! Sorry if you've answered this one already.
I definitely get less hungry on the paleo diet (although you’d never know by how I’m eating my way through NY right now).
The reason being is, my body is using more of the food I’m feeding it than ever before. Plus, I’m not feeding it any more empty calories that provide zero nutrition, like grains! And I’m also feeding it more healthy fat than ever before, like in avocados, coconuts, grass-fed beef, etc, which is very filling and satisfying.
I also do Intermittent Fasting (which I’m gonna do after this NY cheating tour is over), so I think that shrinks my stomach to the point where I only have room for one big meal a day. As opposed to if I have one more hot dog, my stomach’s going to burst!
