Topline Foods Review, plus EXCLUSIVE Cooking Caveman $10 Off Coupon!

About a month ago I was contacted by Topline Foods, a Phoenix based organic food company, to see if I’d be interested in trying their grass-fed beef and posting a review for my Caveman Minions.  They didn’t offer me free food, which I would’ve jumped on, but they did offer me free shipping if I’d try it out.  So I checked out their prices and they are VERY competitive!  For instance, a pound of grass-fed ground beef (which I use a lot) is $5.99, which is the same price or cheaper than Trader Joe’s, my go-to brand, and about the same price as Whole Food’s SALE PRICE!  The difference is though, I can walk to Trader Joe’s and Topline Foodshas to ship to me.  But since they were offering free shipping anyway, I gave them a shot.

I have to say, their beef was INCREDIBLY fresh looking and tasting.  Some of the best, if not THE best grass-fed beef I’ve had to date.  Sometimes the Trader Joe’s brand can get a little gray looking, but this looked beautiful, like it was just butchered and ground.  I enjoyed it immensely, and I look forward to trying out the filet mignon I also purchased sometime soon.
Now, if you don’t have access to organic meat near you, I think they are a great company.  They answered every question I had, and you guys know how anal thorough I can be about eating paleo.  For instance, they have organic poultry, but their birds are fed organic corn, soy and wheat, which is not my style.  I only eat pasture raised chicken (he says, as he eats another cookie from the craft service tray at work).  They don’t have pasture raised chicken, but they’re planning on getting some in the future.  They also have wild caught fish, and a bevy of other antibiotic and hormone free meat, so check them out.  And they have deals all the time that they let you know about through email.  For instance, just today they offered a free pound of grass-fed beef when you buy 6 steaks.  And they have a $10 off shipping offer for their new customers.  And an EXCLUSIVE DEAL for my readers!  They are offering a special $10 off coupon, just for the Caveman Minions!  Just enter the coupon code: cookingcaveman
I want to preface that Topline Foods is not paying me, or offering me free food, they just offered me a one time free shipping offer in exchange for my review, and they put no restrictions on my opinion.  Believe me, if they sold a bad product, I would’ve told you folks about it.  But it’s top quality.  I will buy from them again when they have special deals that offset the price of the shipping, but for me, in Los Angeles, with tons of close access to organic meat, I’m not sure it makes sense to pay for shipping on a regular basis.  However, if you don’t have that kind of access, I highly recommend them.  And the more you buy, the less shipping is added to the overall total cost (and you’re saving money in gas and convenience in many cases).  So enjoy, and tell them The Cooking Caveman sent you!  By the way, here is a photo of the burgers I made from their beef.  Ugga-Bugga!
