Whole Foods Organic Blueberry Sale This Friday!
This Friday, Whole Foods is having a nationwide sale on organic blueberries! $1.99 a pint, down from $5.99 and $6.99! This is how to do paleo on a budget, look for sales! I’m gonna stock up, and freeze a bunch for future paleo pies, muffins, and cobblers (using coconut flour; see my recipes page for pie ideas). Not every Whole Foods will participate, so check out your local Whole Foods store to see if the sale is coming to you!
Experimenting in Blueberries
Organic blueberries are in season right now, so go get some! Tried making my first blueberry muffin, using my paleo pie dough recipe with coconut flour. Unfortunately came out like cobbler in a paper wrapper, but tastes pretty amazing. Gonna scoop some out and plop some organic frozen banana “paleo ice cream” on top. When I tweak the ingredients to get it right next time, I’ll post the recipe.
